There are so many books released each year and there are probably just as many review sites that popup as well. But the one thing I noticed was how amazingly nice and sugar coated all of those sites are. Nobody really takes the time to give a REAL review and point out the ever so obvious flaws with books. I asked a person once about that who runs a rather popular review blog and she told me that authors and publishers will stop sending them free arcs (review copies of books) if they fear the reviews posted might be negative.
Sorry but that doesn’t work for me. So if you are looking for some candy coated fluff piece about a book this probably isn’t the site for you. I love to read but sometimes there are things about books I don’t like and this site discussed just that. So if you want the cold hard truth about fictional love stories, then this is the place for you. It is never my intention to be mean. I realize that writers put in a lot of work for their books but there is also the other side to consider and that’s the fact that we readers put in a lot of works at our own jobs to make the money to buy these books so we would like to know in advance what we are getting in for .. REAL reviews, now fake ones bought on Amazon or Goodreads or fluff pieces posted on other review blogs.
These are my pending reviews – those that I have read and the reviews are currently in the works and will be live on the website sometime in the near future. Those listed below are in no particular order.
- The Vampire Diaries: (Book 1) The Awakening
- The Vampire Diaries: (Book 2) The Fury
- The Marriage Mistake
- Fall For Me
- Weekends Required
